The town of Naumburg (Saale) is in the south of the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt in central Germany’s administrative district known as Burgenlandkreis. It is at the center of Germany’s northernmost wine region, the Saale-Unstrut region, and accessible via the motorways A9 and A38. The Naumburg main station is a calling point for local and long distance trains.
