Honest cuisine with a fresh spirit, seasonal, and featuring local wines: our restaurant and wine bar has seating for 50 guests and serves great classic dishes and refined delicacies – from 11.30h a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Our staff works closely with local wine makers to ensure wines from Saxony’s Saale-Unstrut region are well represented.

 
Breakfast open to the public until 10:30 a.m.

Breakfast is open to the public from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. In the afternoon, our in-house bakery and pastry shop provides a variety of oven-fresh delicacies – also on our courtyard terrace and in the entrance hall.

Lehmpfuhl paintings in Naumburg

The Berlin-based painter Christopher Lehmpfuhl (*1972) exhibits his impressions of Naumburg exclusively in the restaurant at Gasthof Zufriedenheit. Here we see a two-part painting or diptych, measuring 440x60 cm. While working on this painting, Lehmpfuhl had many conversations with town residents, as his preferred approach – open-air painting – lends itself to interaction with passers-by.
